I really enjoyed my time at the bar. My Texas margarita was delicious. I added guava to it. The service was fast but they forgot to bring out my appetizer. The bartender was very apologetic. My shrimp tacos were flavorful. Overall my experience was good. The ambiance of the restaurant was chill but the bar was full. We had to wait until a couple left so we could sit down.

Great food, welcoming atmosphere especially if you have kids. Large water tumblers, free refills on chips and salsa, replenished without asking which was great! Reasonable prices on top of everything. I'll be back.

Free chips and salsa. YES!! The steak fajita was so good. The steak melted in your mouth like butter. The shrimp taco was delicious if you like slaw and hot peppers on it. However, I asked for the toppings on the side. I'm not a fan of my shell being too soggy. The pineapple spicy margarita was on point. It was the waitress's first day and she wasn't able to answer a few questions which is understandable but she was honest , super nice and very attentive. This location offers plenty of parking and is very nicely decorated. It offers a variety of seating styles from a Patio ambience, a nice size bar area, booths for a more private dining space and, of course, tables if you prefer. The ladies rest room was very clean. My overall experience was fantastic! I will definitely be back again!!

Favorite spot to go to have a working lunch! Bartenders are super friendly and accommodating. Definitely know how to treat their regulars.

I've been going to La Parilla for years and their food always hits. On my most recent visit, I got a weeknight dinner with some friends at their Howell Mill location. I came on a Thursday evening and our party of 6 was able to be seated on the covered patio within a few minutes. Although I didn't drink on this occasion, their margs are usually pretty solid. On this visit, I got their tinga tacos but I also love their quesadillas and combos too!! My tacos were delicious and seasoned well and I always love the rice and beans they serve on the side. This location is always a little loud, but the service is quick and it's always a great time! I'll be coming back to La Parilla for years to come!

I've been to a few La Parrilla locations.. this one is my favorite! It is the best one in my opinion. Food just tastes better here. The bartender Jonathan is always in a good mood, smiling, funny and just an awesome person to be around. The bar has a nice chill vibe with TVs (we've sat in the restaurant area as well but prefer the bar) Food is consistent and prices are reasonable. I've gotten the chimichanga, tacos, taco salad, queso, burrito.. all tasted great! Only taking one star off due to the high price for alcohol.

My favorite Mexican restaurant ever!!! I am not even exaggerating. I love everything on their menu, but my go to is the Texas quesadillas and their fajitas, but no matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed. That queso with jalapeños go crazy and their skinny margaritas always get us right.

On a lazy Friday night all I wanted was something tasty covered in cheese- La Parrilla hit the mark! I ordered the Burrito Parrilla- a burrito with steak covered in cheese with rice and beans to be delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly! The whole meal was exactly what I needed and very filling. It also came with a side of chips and salsa, which was spicy for a wimp like me. The chips were crunchy and warm and tasted great! Overall a great choice.

Great Mexican food and margaritas on a budget. Location and Parking Located on Howell Mill Rd. in the same shopping center as Ultra, parking is plentiful and free. Venue and Atmosphere La Parrilla features indoor seating with a generously sized patio. The restaurant is noisy, inside and out, so please be prepared. Restrooms are very clean. Service The server took our order smoothly and gave us lots of advice on the menu. Food and Beverages I ordered the guac and chips, as well as the skirt steak quesadilla and a frozen strawberry margarita. The drink and guac were delicious, however the steak was a bit tough. The marinade was tasty but it took awhile to eat due to the texture of the steak. Their chips tasted fresh and homemade. Verdict I'll be back, but I'll stick to the chicken next time.
